Nikolaj Bauer

Nikolaj Bauer is a tap dancer based in Zurich, Switzerland, who began his tap dance career from a young age which lead him to being part of the junior world championship trio at 15 years old. Today Nikolaj works as a professional tap dancer and teacher the Backstage Studio in Zurich and regularly performs in various show and stage productions. When Nikolaj Bauer is on stage he captivates audiences with his musicality, creativity and joy for tap dancing.

Nikolaj completed the “Professional Training Program for Tap Dancers” in Barcelona where he met Amanda Bisig, with whom he forms the dynamic Duo Tap Grooves, an act inspired by jazz music and the 1920s style with a modern twist.

Nikolaj likes to share his passion for the Dance not only as a performer on stage but also in the classroom as a teacher of regular weekly classes at Backstage Studio as well as offering workshops and privates.
